Pavement Management System (PMS) is a combination of advanced technologies that utilizes state-of-the-art database managers, analysis and reporting tools, video distress survey, Geographic Information Systems (GIS), and destructive/nondestructive testing.

Software

ERI's PMS is based on Micro PAVER, the most widely used pavement management software in the world. ERI can customize the PMS software to better fit your requirements. ERI's staff is able to provide tools and additional reporting capabilities to meet your needs. ERI also offers software that interfaces Micro PAVER with GIS. Micro PAVER users will be able to generate detailed maps based on the data stored in the PMS database.

Equipment

An effective PMS must begin with accurate and representative data. ERI utilizes High Resolution Video processing equipment to assist in the pavement assessment and evaluation process. ERI owns and operates both the KUAB and Dynatest FWDs, which enable us to test with a wide range of environments. ERI also offers destructive testing (coring). Our in-house laboratory testing capabilities gives the convenience of obtaining the materials properties from a single source, with tests performed on site, or at the facilities in Savoy, Illinois.

Training

ERI can train you not only to use PMS, but also to educate about the theory behind it. No prior experience is required. Training courses give better understanding about the principles of PMS, which enable engineers to make better decisions. The training courses are custom fit to meet your requirements. ERI staff is able to provide state-of-the-art training in all areas of PMS.
