Pavement Distress Survey is an integral part of Pavement Evaluation, Pavement Management Systems (PMS) and Asset Management System (AMS). ERI can provide manual and automated pavement distress services for roads, parking lots and airports. For automated distress survey, ERI uses state of the art equipment to collect imaging data and quantify pavement distresses for highways, airports and parking lot pavements.
Equipment
ERI provides automated image data collection services by collecting forward, sideways and downward images using high resolution cameras. The downward pavement images are collected using INO’s Laser Imaging System. This system combined with automated crack detection software is an effective tool to quantify pavement distresses for highways, airports and parking lot pavements. This system allows us to obtain the imaging data at highway speeds, which eliminates the traditional walking surveys and provides a safer working environment.
